Day Sails and Snorkeling Trips
Regularly scheduled sunset sails and snorkeling trips are popular (prices range from $35 to $50 per person), as are private or group sails (expect to pay about $500 per day for a party of four).
Blue Bay Rental. Blue Bay Rentals offers half- and full-day charters aboard Bowalie, a luxurious 40-foot cabin sailor. Their three-hour sail includes refreshments and a snorkel stop. The full-day sail includes lunch. Those who want to go solo can rent one of their motorboats such as Betty Boop, an older six-person vessel, for half day or full day and cruise over to Klein Bonaire for a snorkel session and picnic. Kantika de Amor Watertaxi. This company provides daily rides to Klein Bonaire and drift snorkel and evening cruises with complimentary cocktails. The taxi departs from the dock in front of It Rains Fishes restaurant. There are three crossings daily. Bring a picnic and beach umbrella and make it a day. Mushi Mushi. The Mushi Mushi is a catamaran offering a variety of two- and three-hour cruises.It departs from the Bonaire Nautico Marina in downtown Kralendijk (opposite the restaurant It Rains Fishes). Tropical Travel. Tropical Travel is a full-service tour company for the cruise ship and tourism sector. They have a fleet of large buses and small vans that whisk off guests for day excursions, touring the island's many attractions, including Washington Park. Woodwind. The Woodwind is a 37-foot trimaran that offers sailing and snorkeling trips as well as charters. It departs from the dock at Divi Flamingo and offers a full-day cruise for $50 per person. Dee and Ulf will ensure your trip is memorable. Many guests say they see turtles every time they sail with Woodwind. Group rates are available.
