Apartment and Villa Rentals

If you want a home base that's roomy enough for a family, consider renting a private house or apartment. Furnished rentals can save you money, especially if you're traveling with a group.

Bed-and-Breakfasts

Bed-and-breakfasts in Bermuda range from grand, converted Victorians to a couple of rooms with shared bath in a small home. Breakfasts, too, run the gamut, though light continental breakfasts with fresh fruit are more common than hearty bacon-and-eggs meals. Sometimes there is a pool on the property, but to get to the beach you usually have to travel by bus or scooter.

Airbnb

Airbnb (www.airbnb.com) has really taken off on the island and it's by far the cheapest way to stay in Bermuda. There are rooms and entire homes for rent all across the island, with a decent number of centrally located places, which is great because there aren't that many hotel options near Hamilton. And, of course, you can save money by cooking and eating in.
