Surfing

The best surfing is at the east coast's Bathsheba Soup Bowl, where the Barbados Independence Pro competition is held each November, but note that the island's windward (Atlantic) side is safe only for the most experienced surfers. Surfers also congregate at Surfer's Point, at the southern tip of Barbados near Inch Marlow, where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Caribbean Sea.
