The Cat Island Experience. C&O Tours, comprising Pastor Chris, son Danny, and wife Olive King, have eight-seater air-conditioned vans for guided tours of Cat Island. They have a tour for the north and one for the south and both include much of the same thing. They'll customize your tour. The tour in the south includes beaches, Mt. Alvernia, the mini-monastary on the Bahamas' highest point at 206 feet, a step-down well, bat caves, cotton plantations and ruins, the old cotton railroad, an old lighthouse, churches, and also the modern structures and utilities.
