Fodor's Expert Review Farquarson Beach

Inagua Beach
Ten-and-a-half miles north of Matthew Town is the island's nicest (at least the most accessible) beach where locals come out to chill. There's no shade; instead you'll have to keep cool in the mesmerizing turquoise waters. Bring sunscreen, bug spray, umbrellas or portable shade, lots of fluids in a cooler, and some beach toys and snorkeling gear. Amenities: none. Best for: solitude; snorkeling.
