Fodor's Expert Review Pigeon Cay Beach Club
Rokers, , Cat Island, Bahamas
In a wide bay a half mile off the main road just south of Alligator Point, this family-owned-and-operated resort has seven deluxe cottages and a "big house" with several rooms that are colorfully decorated and perched steps away from a secluded 3-mile stretch of pristine sugary white beach. The native stone and stucco cottages have wood and tile floors, colorful island furniture, fully equipped kitchens, and air-conditioning. Staff will stock your cottage before your arrival (just send your grocery list), and laundry service and child care are available. Snorkel, kayak, fish, swim, bike, or lie on the beach.
