Although the Meliá is not technically part of the Baha Mar resort, the property has embarked on a series of upgrades to keep pace with the changes to the neighborhood. The large lobby and surrounding bars have a clubby yet casual vibe. The on-site restaurants have been completely overhauled and retooled, and in 2015 the property went all-inclusive. A vibrant activities team ensures guests can never get bored–-from pool and beach games to salsa night and family movie night. The Kids and Co. activity program is included to keep children ages 5–12 occupied all day long.
