Fodor's Expert Review Atlantis Paradise Island Beach Towers
Atlantis Paradise Island, Paradise Island, New Providence Island, Bahamas
Located at the easternmost edge of Atlantis, the Beach Towers offer a bit of a reprieve from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the megaresort. Many Atlantis guests never venture all the way over to this part of the property, leaving the large, inviting pool and lazy river less congested than the more elaborate Aquaventure. The beach outside this part of the resort also tends to be less crowded and busy. Many of the kids' activities–-including preteen and teenager-only nightclubs and an exciting video game room—are located in the Beach Tower, making it a great choice for families in terms of value and convenience. Rooms are on the smaller end for the property and are significantly more basic than those in the Royal Towers, but they have colorful Caribbean decor. The resort offers complimentary shuttles throughout the property so don't be put off by the long distance to prime amenities. A $45-per-room daily resort fee includes Wi-Fi, fitness center access, bottled water, movie theater access, casino lessons, and shuttles throughout the sprawling property.
