Scuba Diving and Snorkeling

The Bimini Barge Wreck (a World War II landing craft) rests in 100 feet of water. Little Caverns is a medium-depth dive with scattered coral heads, small tunnels, and swim-throughs. Rainbow Reef is a shallow dive popular for fish gazing. Moray Alley teems with captivating moray eels and Bull Run is famous for its profusion of sharks. And, of course, there's Bimini Road (aka, Road to Atlantis), thought to be the famous "lost city." Dive packages are available through most Bimini hotels. Big Game Dive Shop. The PADI-certified Big Game Dive Shop, located at Bimini Big Game Club Resort & Marina, offers two-tank dives in the morning and one-tank dives in the afternoon. Besides exciting great hammerhead dives (from October to March, and Caribbean Reef and lemon shark dives, Big Game also offers wild–spotted dolphin snorkeling excursions. The operator visits all of Bimini’s popular spots: the Sapona Wreck, the Bimini Barge, Atlantis Road, Tuna Alley, Victory Reef, the Nodules, the Strip, Rainbow Reef, and much more. They offer full range of rentals and tank fills, as well as kayaks and paddleboards for exploring the harbor and flats beyond. Bimini Undersea. Headquartered in Fisherman's Village at Resorts World, Bimini Undersea offers myriad excursions and experiences, including scuba diving, snuba, nature boat tours, fishing, and snorkeling near a delightful pod of Atlantic spotted dolphins. They run Sunset Celebration Cruises and near the marina and on Paradise Beach they offer kayaks and paddleboards. You can also rent or buy snorkel and diving gear.
