A true local success story, this is one of the four locations in a local chain that began as a small salon in San Nicolas and evolved into a major perfumery with salons and stores. Though the original Maggy has since passed, the business she began in 1969 is still going strong with her daughter at the helm and many family members still running the business. These shops specialize in original masks and crafty items called mopa mopa art. Originating with the Quillacinga people of Ecuador and Colombia, the art is made from the bud of the mopa mopa tree, boiled down into a resin, colored with dyes, and applied to carved mahogany and other woods like cedar. Masks, jewelry boxes, coasters, whimsical animal figurines, and more make wonderfully unique gifts and souvenirs. The masks are believed to ward off evil spirits. You can also buy works online.

Dotted with small retail stores, souvenir shops, and a mini-market, the mall also has multiple fast-food outlets as well as finer dining options like Fusion Wine and Piano Bar, The Brownstone Restaurant, and Twist of Flavors. There's live music at some spot every night, and there’s also a small spa. Stores are open late, and the casino is open until the wee hours.
