Fodor's Expert Review Divi Aruba International Beach Tennis Tournament

Aruba has become the beach tennis capital of the Caribbean, with its own leagues and global competitors. Each year Divi Aruba hosts an international tournament on Eagle Beach in conjunction with the International Tennis Federation, with big cash incentives for the winners, such as $25,000 in prize money. Some 800 players from all over the globe converge on the island for a weeklong event in September that includes parties, live music, food courts, and all kinds of additional special events. Many activity operators also offer beach tennis lessons for visitors on a regular basis.
