Fodor's Expert Review The Ritz-Carlton, Aruba

L. G. Smith Blvd. 107, Palm Beach, n/a Aruba, Aruba Fodor's Choice

All of the rooms and suites and many common areas at this massive beachfront hotel were completely refreshed in 2023 to reflect Aruban island life with cactus art and soothing sea and sand tones, and all accommodations have oversize bathtubs and luxury products. You’ll find all the extra luxuries one would expect from this brand, like complimentary reef-safe sunscreen and aloe dispensers on the beach—the casino even serves their complimentary cocktails in snazzy glasses. Two pools (one adult-only), an exceptional Ritz-Kidz Club, a spacious spa, and a fitness center are also on-site. Food and beverage options include a sushi bar in the grand lobby, BLT Steak steak house, Solanio for breakfast (until it morphs into authentic Italian eatery Casa Nonna New York at night), and Madero Pool and Beach Grill, which has excellent lunch fare and a cool pop-up artisanal cocktail kiosk. Private cabana rentals are available, and beach food and beverage service is provided to your lounge by very skilled servers riding Segways.
