Fodor's Expert Review Stansborough

Wellington Museum Village

Editor's Note: This location is no longer in operation.

Step back to the 1890s to a working mill where wool from an ancient breed of gray sheep, together with alpaca, is woven on 100-year-old looms. Fabric produced here was used for costumes in The Lord of the Rings, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, and other films—and you have the opportunity to buy the type of cloak worn by Frodo or Sam.
