The two large guest rooms in this purpose-built B&B (about midway between Nelson and Blenheim) overlook the entry to the Havelock marina. Each room has a small kitchenette and a big bathroom—one with spa bath. Hosts Phillipa and Chris also run a water taxi, so they are full of local knowledge and can offer you a tour around Pelorus Sound as well. Guests receive a bottle of local sauvignon blanc on arrival. Put your feet up, relax on the deck and watch the boats come home in the evening.
