Fodor's Expert Review Peregrine Wines

Queenstown Winery/Brewery/Distillery

An architectural standout in the Gibbston Valley, Peregrine winery has been designed to look like a falcon's wing, and has even had rare native falcons living on site. The conservation of native birds is a big focus at this winery and its wines are named after them. Best known for their Pinot Noir, they also turn out beautiful Rieslings, Chardonnays, and Pinot Gris. You can head off for a stunning half-hour walk along the Kawarau river and reward yourself with a wine tasting.
