Some of the best views of the town, lake, and mountains are from the Deer Park. Not only will you have outstanding views, some of which you may recognize from the Lord of the Rings films, but you'll also find yourself an object of attention from the resident creatures, which include thars (goatlike animals), goats, bison, and llamas. The animals are used to being fed by people, so they're not skittish. Keep your car window rolled down if you want to find out what bison breath is like. Bring some $1 coins for the food dispensers and wear something you won't mind getting nuzzled.
