Fodor's Expert Review Minus 5° Ice Bar

The ice-bar gimmick has been spreading over the past few years, but it's great fun if you've never tried one–-if not for the beautiful ice sculptures alone. They deck you out in jackets and gloves prior to entering. In summer it's a good reminder of how close to Antarctica you are, and in winter it just adds to that alpine resort experience. Take the family during the day or to keep them amused while you have a predinner drink. The kids can have a "mocktail" in a "glass" made of ice.
