Fodor's Expert Review El Barrio Cafe & Bar

Once a truck repair yard, now a quaint café. El Barrio opens early, at 7:30 am, so breakfasts are popular, as is the Atomic coffee. For lunch and later, however, it's the tapas that are the point of difference here, as well as lots of local seafood options (scallops, salmon fillet, and mussel fritters), plus falafel, house-made tortillas, hearty salads, steak sandwiches, and other, seriously good café food.
