Fodor's Expert Review Bravo Restaurant Café
With jazz music and tables spilling out onto the sidewalk patio, this restaurant is popular right from the start of the day with brunch, when you can sip a strong latte and enjoy a dish of smoked salmon with scallion, fried potatoes, poached eggs, and hollandaise sauce. Actually there's a huge range on the daylong menu. Produce is handpicked from local suppliers and the restaurant is a regular winner of the NZ Beef and Lamb Excellence Awards. Focaccias, hot sandwiches, shared platters, salads, satays, and pizzas are delivered by young, energetic, efficient staff. In the evening the casual café turns into a dinner restaurant.
