Fodor's Expert Review Indigo Bush Studios

From burnished clay floors, copper pipes, and old beams of timber arise two creatively designed studios where Balinese doors, Egyptian louvres, and Afghani furniture add to the eclectic ambience. It comes as no surprise that the host is an artist; in addition to the rooms themselves, host and local artist Robyn Lewis' paintings and sculptures accent the rooms. Each self-contained studio is utterly private; French doors swing out onto the native bush, and sunken into the wooden front deck are deep outdoor baths. The interiors are spare but stylishly furnished.
