Fodor's Expert Review Blue Water Motel

These bright and cheery self-contained units are at the southern end of Tairua, across the street from a small sandy beach. Each unit mimics a simple beach cottage, some with a deck overlooking the harbor. There’s a shared BBQ for guests, as well as a hot tub. In the true spirit of a seaside holiday town, guests are welcome to use kayaks and fishing rods, all complimentary, along with advice about the best spots to use them. Rates vary depending on time of year and the type of unit.
