'The Arc Café is a bar, performance venue, café, and gallery all rolled into one. This really informal and affordable joint is probably the only place in town where you can ask for a cognac with your morning coffee without raising an eyebrow. It's open from 10 am until late. Started as a not-for-profit trust in 2000 with the chalkboard philosophy of 'making Dunedin a better place.'.
