Manganui. Owned by a small club, the sole ski slope on Mt. Taranaki only operates for 10 to 30 days each winter (June–October), based on snow conditions. The terrain is for intermediate and advanced skiers; nonmembers can buy daily tow passes for NZ$45. Note that facilities are limited, and it's a 20-minute walk from the parking lot to the ski area.
