Fodor's Expert Review Rendezvous Hotel

This hotel is close to the Aotea Centre performance venue—an underground tunnel runs from the hotel to Aotea Square—and its central locale close to many well-priced restaurants appeals to business travelers. The large guest rooms are elegantly furnished, with striped bed linens, sofas, writing desks, and well-equipped bathrooms (custom-made bath pillows are a thoughtful touch). The best views are from the rooms that overlook the park and the harbor. Guests are advised not to walk in the park at night however.
