Antiques brought over from England fill this lovely B&B, which is a mix of luxury and simplicity and is close to two lovely beaches and the trendy Devonport precinct. The largest room, the Windsor, has a high antique English pine bed and a small but adorable bathroom with a Victorian claw-foot tub. Conversely, the smallest room has a brass bed and a larger bathroom with a full-size claw-foot bath. For a view of the city, ask for the upstairs Waitemata room. Children are welcome with those under five free.
