Mail

There are post offices on all of the main islands. City branches tend to be open Monday through Friday, 7:30–3; the Faa'a Airport branch is also open on Saturdays and Sundays from 6:30 to 10 [am]. The postal service is friendly and efficient: it usually takes a week to 10 days to mail something to Europe, Australia, or the U.S., with postcards costing about 120 CFP. If you would like to have something sent to you in French Polynesia, you can have it mailed care of your place of accommodation or arrange to have it sent to a local post office branch.

Shipping Packages

Although the postal service is generally reliable, don't expect the same services in Tahiti that are available in Europe or the U.S., such as shipping parcels from stores or courier services. Some hotels and shops will mail purchases for you, but you will need to ask, rather than counting on this as the norm. FedEx does access French Polynesia.
