Fodor's Expert Review Spring Garden of Vaipahi

This lovely haven, on the mountainside of the road at Mataiea, has 75 different species of plants, including the giant elephant ears, as well as a few archaeological relics dotted around the 2.5-acre site. You can wander along paths to ponds and a waterfall (there are 6 km [4 mi] of hiking paths).The boutique sells gardening books and souvenirs.
