  • 1. Handicraft Center

Across the street from scenic Suva Harbour, everything at this market is made in the Lau Group of islands, making this one of the mainland's most authentic and least-expensive places to souvenir-shop. It's just a shame that the alleylike section of stalls is caged in. It's just as well, because the eager sellers want your full attention on the selection of handicrafts, carvings, and jewelry at each of the 71 stalls.

  • 3. Morris Hedstrom City Complex (MHCC)

Often referred to as "The Meeting Point," the MHCC is a typical shopping mall with big name stores like Jack's of Fiji and Prouds, as well as smaller local outlets. There's also a food court, with a wide variety of cuisines, a bakery, and a Gloria Jean's coffee shop.
