Great Itineraries

From the cascading waterfalls of its rain forest to the vibrancy of its capital, Viti Levu is a place of motion, a place to explore. The mainland's infrastructure makes some of its breathtaking peaks and stunning valleys accessible while its magnificent lagoon is at your beck and call. This island does not lend itself to inactivity although its amenity-laden hotels and boutique hideaways encourage that, too.

If You Have 3 Days

Head straight for your resort in the center of the Coral Coast near Sigatoka or Pacific Harbour, and immediately book your Day 2 and Day 3 adventures. The first trip should be land-based and close by. Perhaps a Sigatoka River Safari and Village Visit? Or, maybe a full day of white-water rafting or scuba diving with sharks out of Pacific Harbour? The second day should be a trip to one of the Mamanuca Islands from Port Denarau. After you've booked your excursions, head to Sigatoka's Kula Eco Park or the Art Village in Pacific Harbour followed by cocktails and dinner at the Ocean Terrace Restaurant on the Coral Coast's Sunset Strip. After your second day’s activity, stick close to your resort for dinner, but after you visit the Mamanucas, plan to have dinner at one of the fine dining options within walking distance of Port Denarau.

If You Have 5 Days

Stretch out your three-day itinerary with an extra day trip (after all, there are so many to choose from), and another day just chilling at your resort enjoying the friendly Fijian hospitality, snorkeling or kayaking, or just walking along the beach.

If You Have 7 Days

Spend the first three days island-hopping in the Yasawas. Choose a couple of islands that offer what you need, be it relaxing in a hammock by the beach or snorkeling with manta rays. Return and spend one night in Denarau for a little luxury and fine dining before heading off to a Coral Coast resort. Then as per the three-day itinerary: spend at least one day relaxing and seeing the local sights between two adventurous day trips.
