Fijian departure tax is FJD$200, payable at the airport in local currency before passing through immigration, though in most cases this departure tax is included in the price of the flight, so check your booking before arriving at the airport. The local value-added tax (V.A.T.) is set at 9% and is levied on all goods in excess of concessions. In addition, accommodation, tours, and so on have an additional 10% Hotel Turnover Tax (H.T.T.) and/or a 6% Environment Levy Fee.
