Serving regional and Victorian produce from breakfast to late lunch, Cape Kitchen is a wildly popular brunch spot. The exciting breakfast menu, served until 11:30 am, includes house-cured ocean trout, corn cakes with chili jam and eggs, and locally smoked salmon. After noon, sit down inside to a two- or three-course lunch featuring prawns from the uninhabited Skull Island or a carpaccio of Gippsland beef, with local cheeses and house-made sorbets to finish. The outside deck, with its fabulous views of the rough Southern Ocean, serves a casual light menu including a charcuterie plate, to pair with a local wine. The indoor two course lunch costs A$60, three courses costs A$70.
