Crispy-skinned duck is the highlight of Czech-born chef Sasha Cinatl's menu. Hungarian goulash, smoked pork, and spatchcock in a rich port sauce are also dishes to look for, as well as the genuine dumplings, sauerkraut, and all things Czech. The hospitality is as hearty as the food. Round off with apple strudel or crepes with fresh local berries and cream. The well-priced wine list focuses on northeast Victorian vintages, and you can bring your own wine as well (corkage fee of A$7 a bottle).
