Incorporating a vineyard, olive groves, and a renowned restaurant, this accommodation, now owned by De Bortoli Wines, feels like a private enclave. Spacious suites look over the vineyards and gardens, and are individually decorated, some with such romantic touches as hot tubs. The relaxed restaurant serves succulent dishes including kangaroo, and desserts designed to match one of the De Bortoli range of wines, including its renowned Noble One botrytis semillon. The property also has a wine bar and café, which serves breakfast (included in the tariff) and good coffee. Next door is the historic Rutherglen Cellar Door, built in 1886, which houses the Aboriginal Exhibitions Gallery, a collaboration with Australian Aboriginal art collector Hans Sip.
