Along the Hobart waterfront at Salamanca Place are a large number of shops that sell arts and crafts. On Saturday (between 8 and 3) the area turns into a giant market, where still more local artists join produce growers, bric-a-brac sellers, and itinerant musicians to sell their wares.
This retail shop and gallery specializes in high-quality products made in Tasmania, including ceramics, glass, jewelery, sculpture, and textiles. The mission here is showcase the talents of Tasmania's emerging and established artists. Located within the Salamanca Arts Centre just off Salamanca Place, the gallery represents more than 90 artisans.
