Fodor's Expert Review Lodge on Elizabeth

This opulent grand manor, convict-built in 1829 and home over the years to many Hobart notables, is within walking distance of the city center, but far enough removed to feel like a sanctuary. A short walk to the café strip of North Hobart reveals dozens of bars, restaurants, and an art-house cinema.
