Fodor's Expert Review Peppers Cradle Mountain Lodge

This charming lodge with its collection of wood cabins dotted around the wilderness of Cradle Mountain Valley is a firm favorite with park visitors. The high-ceiling guest rooms are either cheerfully decorated and homey or more contemporary—choose which style you prefer. A couple of interesting walking trails begin at the lodge door, and plenty of soothing treatments are administered at the lodge's Waldheim Alpine Spa. There's a decent on-site restaurant and an excellent bar/bistro for a more informal meal.
