Getting Here and Around

From Brisbane, drive 60 km (35 miles) north on the Bruce Highway, taking the Caloundra Road exit to get to the Sunshine Coast's southernmost beach town, Caloundra. Another 5 km (3 miles) along the highway, there's a well-marked exit to the Sunshine Motorway, which funnels you through to Sunshine Coast towns farther north via a series of large roundabouts (stay tuned for the appropriate exit). Follow the motorway north for 9½ km (6 miles) to get to the Brisbane Road–Mooloolaba exit; 15 km (9 miles) to reach the turn-off to Maroochydore; 29 km (18 miles) to the Yandina-Coolum Road exit for Coolum Beach; and 34 km (21 miles) to reach the Noosa turnoff.

Visit Sunshine Coast has information centers at the Sunshine Coast Airport, Caloundra, Maroochydore, Mooloolaba, Coolum, Glasshouse Mountains, and Montville.
