Taxi Travel

Taxis are metered and relatively inexpensive. They are usually available at designated taxi stands outside hotels, downtown, and at Brisbane Transit and Roma Street stations, although it is often best to phone for one. New ride-sharing service Uber is also available to anyone with the smartphone app. The service is usually comfortable and reliable, with fares often cheaper than traditional taxis.
