Aussies love their Thai food and this stylish restaurant has been delivering some of the best in the city for 18 years. In a charming mid-19th-century sandstone building in The Rocks, there's a dining room on the lower level and a casual canteen, where you dine at a long shared table, on the upper floor. Start with the shredded chicken wrapped in organic egg nets with creamy coconut sauce and then move on to the slow-cooked Massaman curry of Tasmanian Cape Grim beef ribs. Everything on the five-course tasting menu (A$75) is delicious, or choose one of the small plates, such as the soft-shell crab spiced with garlic lime and fish sauce, from the à la carte menu. Finish your meal off with deep-fried coconut ice cream and tamarind caramel sauce.
