Sydney restaurateur Nick Manettas likes to grab the waterfront locations; his latest venture is a glass-encased modern space attached to the vintage-1928 pavilion on the beach's pedestrian promenade. Although it is a bit touristy for some diners, no one can dismiss the great location, and the classic seafood staples—including the three-tiered platter (designed for two diners at A$130) bulging with oysters, shellfish, blue swimmer crab, Tasmanian salmon, and mussels—are sure to please. The Sunday and Monday night barbecue and seafood feast is a steal at A$25.
