Sports and the Outdoors

Bike and Motorbike Rental. You can get around Cai Be on foot, but it's hot, and that makes for slow going. A more fun and authentically Vietnamese way is to rent a bike or motorbike and take to the road, the sun on your face and the wind in your hair. Bicycles are usually built for one, but one to three people can fit on a scooter or motorbike. These can be rented from hotels, where they'll be the most expensive, though likely no more than roughly 200,000d or $9 for a motorbike, and less for a bicycle. You'll also find them at the small bike shops that dot Cai Be's main drags. Expect to pay around 110,000d ($5) for a few hours. Helmets are available for motos but not for bikes, so watch where you're going. You're more likely to run into a pothole than another scooter, but it's your responsibility to get your vehicle back to the shop in one piece. Cai Be, Tien Giang.
