Choose a beachfront bungalow rather than one of the oddly laid-out rooms here, at one of Phu Quoc's older properties, which still manages to charm because of the friendliness of the staff. The beach has, sadly, been washed away in front of the resort, but there's always a deckchair by the pool. The family bungalows, with their small kitchenettes, are ideal for those who want to self-cater.
