Fodor's Expert Review Camellia Hanoi Hotel

This well-run, well-maintained hotel in the thick of the Old Quarter has clean, bright rooms and friendly staff. There's a glossy feel to everything here—shiny bathrooms, lots of glazed wood, and an abundance of satin. Although the hotel is not exactly tasteful, given the price, it's hard to quibble, and the location is great for its street life. The more expensive rooms are slightly larger but offer no real advantage over the cheaper rooms.
