Kanchanaburi's first luxury hotel has faded somewhat, but it's still a good value. Polished wood floors and wicker headboards decorate the cool, airy rooms. Set amid tropical gardens, the large pool, with a shallow end for kids, is a great place to relax. The hotel is close to the River Kwai bridge and is within walking distance of the town center. The room rate includes a buffet breakfast.
