Fodor's Expert Review Peninsula Excelsior Hotel

The Peninsula hotel is easily accessible from the financial, shopping, and entertainment districts. Its rooms are all fairly spacious, but their design seems to be stuck in the '80s. The rooms on and above the 17th floor have good views. The lobby lounge has glass walls looking into the depths of the pool, so that you can literally watch guests swim right by you. There's no proper restaurant, but Coleman's Café serves an around-the-clock international menu, and there are several reasonably priced restaurants nearby.
