The Eastern & Oriental Express took to the rails sporting a very unique paint job. Instead of the classic forest green, two of the train’s cars have been turned into a mobile art exhibition thanks to Singapore-based artist Rajesh Kumar. Kumar, working in his chosen medium of spray paint, painted two of the cars with dreamy depictions swimming koi fish meant to represent the joy of travel and movement.
But the experience includes more than just a lovely work of art. Passengers on the Eastern & Oriental Express, which travels between Singapore and Bangkok, will be treated to a cocktail menu and soundtrack that have been custom made to complement Belmond’s first ever mobile mural.
The exhibition will be on display until April 28th.
