Fodor's Expert Review Shwe Ya Su

This is a simple, unpretentious Burmese restaurant that also serves local draft beer and can concoct simple mixed drinks like rum and coke (no gin and tonics, though). Locals tuck into a bevy of dishes and watch soccer on a big screen indoors while tourists, exhausted from cycling all day, lounge in outdoor seating, surrounded by trees wrapped in strings of twinkling lights. The young servers are eager to please and the whole place has a lovely, laid-back vibe.
