Hirosaki

Hirosaki is one of northern Tohoku's most attractive cities. It's most famous for its sweet apples, and its only real cultural attraction is a small but photogenic reconstructed castle. The town has a very appealing, easygoing nature, and this is suitably reflected in a local slang word, azumashii (a feeling of coziness and comfort). It's a perfect town for wandering and discovering new things.
