Air Travel

Air India operates direct flights from Varanasi to Agra. From Agra, there’s an Air India flight to Khajuraho. The Varanasi airport is connected by air from Delhi, with flights by Air India, Jet, SpiceJet and Indigo.

Khajuraho Airport is 7 km (4 miles) from town; the taxi ride costs about Rs. 500.

Bhabatpur, the nearest airport to Varanasi, is 22 km (14 miles), or a 45-minute drive, from most hotels. A taxi costs about Rs. 800 (air-conditioned) to the Cantonment area, or about Rs. 1,000 into the city proper.
