Touring the Malabar Hill area

Do this tour by taxi; it's totally acceptable to have your taxi driver wait for you—he may ask for extra money for "waiting time," and Rs. 50 or so should do the trick.

After checking the tides to time your visit just right, take a taxi to the Haji Ali Shrine and have your taxi wait for you while you walk out on the jetty. Then drive to Kamala Nehru Park, take some air, enjoy the views, and walk to the Jain Temple. From here you can either walk or take a taxi along Walkeshwar Road to the Banganga water tank area. Finally, have your taxi take you to Babulnath Temple and Gandhi's former home, Mani Bhavan.
